Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of thick-cut bread
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional: Shredded cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place both slices of bread inside.
  2. Use the bottom of a glass to create an indent in the center of each slice.
  3. Crack an egg into each indent and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook in the air fryer at 340°F (170°C) for about 8 minutes.
  5. If desired, add shredded cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Carefully remove with a spatula and serve hot.
