- 4 slices smoked cheddar cheese (halved)
- 3/4 pound deli-cut ham
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 large egg white
- Poppy seeds (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Slice each croissant in half horizontally. Place half a slice of cheese, a slice of ham, and another half slice of cheese on the bottom half before topping with the other half.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, mustard, honey, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
- Spread the butter mixture inside each croissant sandwich evenly.
- Arrange the assembled croissants in the baking dish.
- Whisk the egg white with a splash of water. Brush over the croissants and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
