Ingredients
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup white wine or low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 rosemary sprig (about 7 inches long)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Rest salmon at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar, white wine or broth, honey, Dijon mustard, rosemary, and garlic. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until thickened to about ⅓ cup (10–15 minutes). Strain into a heatproof bowl.
- Season salmon with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear salmon fillets for 3–4 minutes on one side; flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve warm drizzled with balsamic glaze and garnish with parsley.
