  • 12 Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls
  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 ounces Gouda cheese (thinly sliced)
  • 1/3 cup red onion (finely diced, optional)
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro (finely chopped, optional)
  • 4 tablespoons garlic-herb butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and grease a baking sheet.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping them connected, and place the bottom half in the prepared pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well-coated.
  4. Layer half of the cheese on the bottom rolls, add the BBQ chicken mixture, then top with remaining cheese and cover with the top half of rolls.
  5. Melt garlic-herb butter and brush over the assembled sliders. Optionally sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake covered with foil for 20 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 3–6 minutes until golden brown.
