  • 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare two 8-inch baking pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sifted cocoa powder.
  3. Mix in buttermilk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs until just combined.
  4. Stir in hot coffee until batter is smooth.
