Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • Cream cheese frosting (made from cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yeast mixture by dissolving yeast in warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yeast mixture with remaining sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread melted butter on top, then sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar mixture and blueberries.
  5. Roll tightly and cut into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Let the rolls rise again for about 30 minutes before baking at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Once baked, frost while warm.
