  • 300g rigatoni pasta
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • ½ cup double cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Paprika
  • Dried parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Season ribeye steaks with paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper; marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Cook rigatoni in boiling salted water until al dente; reserve some pasta water.
  3. In a hot frying pan, sear the steaks for 1 minute on each side; add butter and cook for another minute. Let rest.
  4. Sauté diced onion in the same pan until soft; add minced garlic and cook briefly.
  5. If using white wine, deglaze the pan before adding chicken stock and double cream; stir in parmesan until melted.
  6. Combine cooked rigatoni with sauce; slice rested steak and serve over pasta.
