  • 3 packages of frozen cheddar pierogies
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a 4-6 quart crockpot, combine 3 cups of chicken broth, frozen pierogies, sliced kielbasa, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well.
  2. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for about 6 hours until heated through.
  3. About 30 minutes before cooking ends, warm the remaining chicken broth with cream cheese until smooth. Whisk to combine.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the crockpot and stir thoroughly. Top with additional shredded cheddar cheese and cook on low for an extra 30 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or green onions if desired.
