Ingredients
- 500g flour
- 8g salt
- 10g instant yeast
- 75g yogurt
- 15g honey
- 35ml sunflower oil
- 225ml water
- 40g butter (melted)
- 700g chicken thighs (spiced)
- 100g Algerienne sauce
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, yeast, yogurt, honey, sunflower oil, and lukewarm water. Knead for about 10–12 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour.
- Roll out the risen dough into two circles (32 cm diameter) and layer with melted butter and grated cheese.
- Cut each circle into twelve triangles; roll them into crescent shapes.
- Let them rise for another 30 minutes before baking at 200°C (390°F) for 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, cook seasoned chicken thighs in olive oil until browned. Toss with Algerienne sauce.
- Fill baked crescents with the spiced chicken mixture.
