- 2 large chicken breasts
- Salt & pepper
- Garlic powder
- Flour (for dredging)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
- 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced fairly thin)
- 1 large clove garlic (minced)
- 3/4 cup marsala wine
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then dredge in flour.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken cutlets for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet.
- Add remaining butter and sliced mushrooms to the skillet; sauté until browned (3–5 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic and pour in marsala wine, simmering for 2–3 minutes.
- Add heavy cream, return chicken to the skillet, and cook for an additional 4–5 minutes until fully cooked through.
