  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sea bass with salt and pepper for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Fry the marinated sea bass pieces until golden brown on both sides (about 3-4 minutes each side). Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced ginger and garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  5. Add chopped green onions and cook until slightly tender (about another 30 seconds).
  6. Return the fish to the skillet, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar; toss gently to coat.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving hot.
