  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 23 tablespoons hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Season shrimp with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set up three bowls: one with buttermilk, one with flour, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Coat each shrimp in flour, dip in buttermilk, then coat in panko.
  5. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep frying pan.
  6. Fry shrimp in batches for 2–4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For the hot honey glaze, combine honey, hot sauce, butter, red pepper flakes (if using), and apple cider vinegar in a saucepan over low heat.
