  • 1 pound Ground Beef

  • 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes (don't drain)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce (or tomato puree)
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water (to adjust consistency)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shaved or grated)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until translucent.
  2. Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks; drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste until well combined.
  4. Add chicken broth and water to reach desired consistency; bring to a boil.
  5. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; taste and adjust as needed.
  6. Add bowtie pasta to the pot and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Stir in ricotta cheese until melted; serve topped with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
