  • 16 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 36 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 8 oz pepperoni (chopped)
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook rotini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Drain excess grease.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, beef mixture, chopped pepperoni (reserve some slices), diced bell pepper, diced onion, marinara sauce, and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, top with remaining mozzarella cheese and reserved pepperoni slices. Bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let rest before serving.
