Ingredients
- 2 heads of cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500ºF (260ºC) with the rack in the lower third position.
- Remove leaves from the cauliflower and cut each head in half lengthwise. Slice into 1½-inch thick steaks.
- In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Drizzle olive oil over both sides of each steak, then sprinkle with the seasoning mixture.
- Place on a rimmed baking sheet and cover tightly with aluminum foil. Roast for 5 minutes.
- Remove the foil and roast for an additional 10 minutes. Flip each steak and roast for another 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown.
