- 4 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions

- Using a mandolin slicer, slice the peeled potatoes into thin rounds.
