  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 46 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a skillet over medium heat until amber in color.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine browned butter with sugars and mix until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, chai spice blend, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Chill dough for 10–15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop dough onto sheets, flatten slightly, and bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden.
  6. Cool completely before icing with the maple glaze.
