  • 1 cup (200g) brown sugar, packed

  • ¼ cup (60ml) molasses
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add egg, molasses, and vanilla to the butter mixture; mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir until just combined.
  6. Use a cookie scoop to form dough balls; roll in powdered sugar before placing on baking sheets.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes or until slightly cracked on top. Cool on a wire rack.
