  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until foamy (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add garlic salt, olive oil, and sourdough discard to the mixture. Gradually mix in flour until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm spot for about 20 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on floured surface, then transfer to a greased baking sheet.
  5. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and herbs. Top generously with cheeses.
  6. Allow the dough to rise again for about 15 minutes while preheating your oven to 400°F.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
