- 24–30 chocolate kiss candies, unwrapped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract; blend well.
- Mix in the strawberry gelatin until fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
- Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls and chill for at least one hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place chilled dough balls on a lined baking sheet and bake for 11–13 minutes until edges are set.
- After baking, gently press a chocolate kiss into each cookie while still warm. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
