- 24–30 chocolate kiss candies (unwrapped)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and extracts; mix well.
- Incorporate strawberry gelatin powder into the mixture.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl; then gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
- Roll tablespoon-sized portions into balls and chill for at least an hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake chilled dough balls for 11-13 minutes.
- After baking, press a chocolate kiss into each cookie while warm; let cool completely.
