  • 28 Oreo cookies
  • 6 oz dark chocolate (50-70% cocoa)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Gradually incorporate flour and salt before folding in chocolate chips.
  3. Spread half the cookie dough mixture in the prepared pan, layer with Oreos, then top with remaining cookie dough.
  4. In another bowl, melt dark chocolate and cubed butter until smooth. Mix in granulated sugar followed by eggs until combined; stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Pour brownie batter over the layered cookie base and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
