  • 5060 wonton wrappers
  • 200g ground pork
  • 200g raw shrimp (chopped)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 garlic cloves (smashed)
  • 1-inch ginger slice
  • Light soy sauce
  • Sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, grated ginger, green onions, light soy sauce, cooking wine, salt, and sesame oil. Mash until smooth but chunky.
  2. Place wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Add a teaspoon of filling to each wrapper. Brush edges with water and seal tightly.
  3. Boil water in a large pot. Cook wontons for about 4 minutes until they float.
  4. In another saucepan, combine chicken broth, smashed garlic, ginger slice, light soy sauce, sugar, and cooking wine. Simmer for 5-10 minutes; remove solids before serving.
  5. Assemble by placing cooked wontons in bowls and ladling hot broth over them. Garnish with green onions.
